hello there, my name is Jessica…

Dreaming-of-Leaving

the start of this blog came from a dream {i will go into detail in a later post!} and i am determined to see it thru to my reality! i will be blogging about adventures in my life – mainly living on LI, photography sessions, food, music, traveling, etc. not sure if i will even get more than my family and friends as followers but we all have to start somewhere right?! so here we go…

fifteen random things about myself:

  • i have been with my amazing hubby for ten years, married for 10 months <3
  • two adorable fur-babies run my home, enzo the bull terrier and guacamole the cat.
  • i am a freelance photographer in my free time.
  • i curse like a sailor and often get slapped in the mouth by my mother, even at the age of 31.
  • i have six tattoos and plan to get many more throughout my life.
  • i am obsessed with penguins!
  • ketchup is the bane of my existence {yuck}.
  • i am a long island girl, born and raised.
  • my music collection is one of the most eclectic i have ever seen…
  • at the age of 7 i had a friend that moved away with her family to a tropical island for her fathers job, and i have dreamed of doing the same and never coming back ever since!!
  • football runs my life from preseason to superbowl.
  • i can not leave the house without a pair of hoop earrings.
  • i am a huge animal lover and have owned many different types including snakes and sugar gliders!
  • french fries of any kind are my weakness.
  • i absolutely love to make people laugh 🙂

there you have it…me in a nutshell! tell me three things about yourself, i would love to get to know my subscribers <3

    Love this!
I moved to an island when I was 19 and have been slowly moving back north as the years have passed. I think everyone should move to an island at some point in their life. It is a whole different lifestyle and I will remember it always. Hoping to do it again in retirement.
I am married to the love of my life, a mother of a fierce and fabulous redhead, and a passionate photographer.
