dreaming of taking a cruise

back in december, greg and i went on our honeymoon to jamaica. we spent most of the nights laying out in our private cabanas and even sleeping…one night we woke up to a hugeeeee cruise ship sailing by. it was incredible! you don’t realize how big those ships are until you are up close, and we were still pretty far back.

i have been putting off a cruising trip for a while since i have terrible motion sickness especially in boats. we both have never been on a cruise but always talk about possibly booking one…there are so many to choose from i don’t even know where to start! caribbean, mexico, europe, alaska – i wanna take them all!

with all the insanity that has been going on in the last few years with cruises, i have no idea what company to even choose from…have you ever taken a cruise, and if so which company did you use and where did you go? help a sista out! 😀

question mark

We have gone on Jam Cruise a couple of times and had a blast. The boat was the MSC Divinia. I highly recommend finding a theme cruise.Being on a boat with all the musicians that we love was awesome!

  2. I have been on two cruises and had a BLAST! It’s so nice that almost everything is included, so you don’t have to worry about much once you are there. And there is always so much to do! I have really been wanting to go on another cruise, too.

I’ve never been on a cruise before. That sounds like a totally different type of vacation experience, but a fun one!

  5. I’ve only been on one cruise and it was around Alaska. We went on Princess. It was fun. I probably never would have gone to Alaska otherwise.

I would love to go on another one, maybe some place warm next time…or a Disney one. Those are supposed to be totally awesome!

  7. We love to cruise! I’ve only ever cruised with Disney, but I’ve been on over 5 of them and I’m always up for another. You’d be surprised how motion sickness is not the same on a large ship as it is on a boat. We always take some Ginger Root before we get on the ship (getting out of the channel is when you’ll feel it the most) and we’ve always been fine.

We cruised in the Caribbean, with a cool stop in the Bahamas. I battled motion sickness, too. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be though.

I was in the Coast Guard for 5 years when I think of any type of ship I automatically think of work. I know that people love going on cruises and I have seen some really nice ones. I am sure that you all will make that dream a reality soon enough and will have a ball!

I’ve seen a cruise ship up close before, while trying to find a parking spot in New Orleans and the things are massive. I can’t imagine having motion sickness on one of those as big as it is.

I would love to take a cruise one day, we are thinking of either a family cruise like Disney or Nick’s or a get away cruise for the two of us. I want to wait a bit though until all the modifications that will be made due to the incidents in the recent years.

We almost went on a Disney cruise. WE were so excited but I was a bit nervous about the motion sickness. Sadly we had to cancel for money reasons. Good luck and I hope you find a good cruise line.

I done a couple cruises– So much fun.Went to Alaska for a 13 day tour on the Princes and Panama on the Holland America. They are both very different but both I did get sick only once– but it was a very bad storm. I’d do it again in a minute if I could
